2024 is a typical duralumin alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium system, with a more reasonable composition and better overall performance. Many of them produce this alloy, which is the larger dosage of hard aluminum. The alloy is characterized by high strength and some heat resistance, and can be used as working parts up to 150°C.
